RACE for FACE of Pitt County

RACE for FACE of Pitt County is a 5K race at Boyd Lee. By participating in this 5K, you will be helping FAMILIES, STUDENTS, EDUCATORS, COMMUNITY outreach, and LOCAL businesses. FACE of Pitt County provides free tutoring services for students of all ages and grades, provides educational classes for families so they can engage and support their children, provides financial support and opportunities for FAMILIES, STUDENTS, EDUCATORS, and the community to collaborate to promote success in schools and at home. We hope you will choose to participate in this 5k or 3K to help us raise money to provide grants and scholarships for our students in Pitt County.

Registration entry fee is 30.00. Team registration for students, families or business groups is 5 runners for 100.00.

Medals will be given for top 3 runners for male/female for each age group. Top 3 runners overall for male/female will be given. First place trophy/plaque will be given for top finishing team if we have enough teams participating. 

Various gift cards and drawings will be given away through drawings with a number given with the race packet.

T-shirts will be available for participants for an added 10.00 cost on race day, and 15.00 for others. 

This is a certified 5k course used by the Boys Conference Champions (DH Conley) 5 years in a row! The course is 3.1 miles. It is a flat course that includes running through grass, around baseball fields, and a wooded trail through the woods. 

Family/Community fun 3K walk event is for families/groups to walk together. This event will not be timed. Registration fee for groups of up to four participants is 30.00.
