Description
This inaugural event will take place December 9th at the Elizabethan Gardens/Fort Raleigh. It is a twilight 5K run or walk through the scenic National Park at Fort Raleigh and ending at the entrance to the Elizabethan Gardens. There will also be an “Elf Dash” for ages 10 and under. What a great way to kick off the holiday season!! The 5K will start and end at the Gardens and includes entry to “Winter Lights” at the gardens, a must-see annual event. Post race party will include hot chocolate, cookies, roasted marshmallows and (of course!) a visit with Santa. Enjoy some warm winter wine (21 & older)!
In addition to entry to “Winter Lights”, all 5K registrants will receive a festive Holiday Scarf, Finisher Medal and an eco-friendly reusable water cup.
