Jim Kelly is a Food Service Director with ECU Campus Dining/Aramark. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2013. As part of his fight, he had his stomach and part of his esophagus removed. Jim continues to battle cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy now. This run is in honor of his kind heart, his battle with cancer, and his joy of running. All proceeds from the Jim Kelly Run for the Belly 5K Run and Walk benefit the American Cancer Society. For over 100 years, the American Cancer Society has worked continuously to save lives and create a world with less cancer. Money donated to the American Cancer Society will help people stay well and get well, find cures and fight back against cancer.
