Louisburg Turkey Trot

Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving with a burst of energy and heartwarming generosity at the inaugural Louisburg Turkey Trot 5K! Lace up your sneakers and join our community for a fun, family-friendly race that combines fitness, festive spirit, and a chance to give back.

All proceeds from the race will directly support Care and Share and The Help Center NC, two local food banks, providing meals to families in need right here in our community. Enjoy a morning filled with music, costumes, and Thanksgiving cheer as you run or walk through the 5K course through historic downtown Louisburg.

Registration Fees:

• $27.50 per runner (A 20% discount will be given to groups of 10 or more and all active military, veterans, and first responders)

Course Description:

• The course takes runners through the historic downtown Louisburg. This residential area is paved and allows runners to take in the beauty of small town America and our wonderful community up close and personal!

Early Packet Pick-Up 

You may pick up your t-shirt and bib early at New Life Total Fitness on Tuesday 11/25/2025 from 10 am to 8pm and Wednesday 11/26/2025 from 10 am to 5 pm. The gym is located at 146 Wade Ave, Louisburg, NC 27549.

Please arrive early to get checked in and ready to run! 

Runner Check-in will take place under the Raynor Realty tent in the parking lot above Pete Smith Amphitheater. At check-in, you will receive: Your race bib, safety pins, and T-shirt (all participants registered before 11/3 are guaranteed a t-shirt, those who registered after- shirts are available on a first come first served basis.

Parking Information 
Parking will be available behind Louisburg Town Hall. Note: due to construction W Johnson Street is closed. Access the parking area from Nash Street and S Church Street. Overflow parking is available at New Life Total Fitness. There are paved sidewalks from this area to the start line, but please note that it is approximately 0.3 miles.  Please follow the signs and the directions of our volunteers to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
