YMCA LIGHT UP the RUNWAY

Join us for our 2nd Annual Light Up the Runway Glow Run 5k and One-Mile Fun Run. (If you are not a runner, we also welcome walkers) To be held at the Rocky Mount-Wilson Airport on Saturday July 9, 2016. 

Come experience running a race on a flat, straight course like never before. If you ever wanted to PR (personal record) a 5k distance this is your chance! 
Come prepared to Glow in the dark, as each participant will get a glow bracelet with their entry fee. We also encourage you to wear bright clothing so you will stand out from the rest.

Stick around after the 5k for awards, raffles and celebration.

The Fun Run will start approximately at 7:30pm and the 5k approximately 8:00pm. 

Early packet pick-up will be held on Friday, July 8th at Omega Sports of Wilson from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Located at Heritage Crossing Stopping Center 3401 Raleigh Road Pkwy Wilson NC 27896. 

Day of packet pick-up will be from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the event.

Strollers will be allowed, but we will not allow dogs at this event. 

Registration/Pricing

5K: Registration includes entry to the Fun Run, t-shirt, glow bracelet and award
Individuals- $25 in advance; $30 race day

Teams of 4- $80 in advance; $90 race day; $20/ additional member in advance, $25/ additional member on race day

One-mile Fun Run: Registration includes glow bracelet and award
$5 (shirt not included)

Register by June 24 to guarantee a t-shirt!

Awards
Awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female overall and in the following age groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. 

Award will be given to the fastest team with the best overall time. Team must have at least 4, but you can have more on a team. We will take the top 4 times from each team.
