Bunn Fun Run- Cancelled

The Bunn Fun Run benefits “A Blessing, Inc.” Soup Kitchen. 

The Town of Bunn is proud to support the tenth annual Bunn Fun Run on October 31, 2020. This event serves to bring awareness to the persistent issue of hunger and also recognizes the ongoing Christian service provided within this community.

This race also serves as a CANNED FOOD DRIVE.  Every participant is encouraged to bring 10 items of canned food.

The 5K race course winds through the town of Bunn, a rural Franklin County community of eastern North Carolina.  Race begins and ends at the Bunn High School track (29 Bunn Elementary School Rd., Bunn, NC).

The 1 mile Walk/Run and Kid Dash are both held at the Bunn High School track. 

5K start time:  9:00 a.m.

1 Mile start time:  9:45 a.m.

Kids Dash start time:  10:00 a.m.

Fees:

Registration On or Before October 14, 2020:
5K/1 mile: $30
Kid Dash: $20

Registration After October 15, 2020:
5K/1 mile: $35
Kid Dash: $25

Same day registration:
5K/1 mile: $40
Kid Dash: $30

T-shirts are guaranteed to all 5K and 1 Mile participants registered by October 1, 2020.  (No t-shirt for Kids Dash.)  Limited amount of T-shirts will be for sale the day of the Fun Run for $20. 

Awards:

5K Awards will be given as follows:
Medals for 1st Place finishers, Male and Female, for the following age categories:
19 and under
20-40
41-60
61 and above

1 Mile medal will be given for the 1st place Male and 1st place Female finisher, for the following age categories:
12 and under
13 and above

Top 3 finishers in Kid Dash will receive a medal.

A trophy for the largest group/team enrollment and team name put on a plaque which resides in the city of Bunn.

Race Packet Pickup:
Thursday, October 29, 2020, from 8:30-4:30 at Bunn Family Dentistry OR Race day October 31st at 7:45 a.m. at the race site.
