Race of Faith was born in honor of Robby Daughety who lost his battle with CF in 2017. Cystic Fibrosis is a rare genetic disease that receives no government funding for research or treatment studies. Through the support and donations from the community there have been many advancements in the treatment of CF. This is the 9th annual Race of Faith with all proceeds being donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Running for a Cause
The Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation holds a special place in our hearts at Shady Grove Church. In 2015, the Shady Grove Church Race of Faith was born in honor of Robby Daughety who lost his battle with CF, April 15,2017.
In the last 8 years we have donated over $206,151 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help find a cure. The turnout for this event has been amazing! We have hosted more than 100 participants for every Race of Faith event.
