Race Description/Details:
Join the fun as we run through the streets of historic Washington wearing powdered wigs! Compete for cherry pies in the timed 5K or do your thing in the 1 mile fun run! The race will be officially timed by Run The East.
The race starts when George makes his ceremonial crossing of the cold Pamlico river!
It’s going to be epic! Registration starts at 8am. Race at 9am. Awesome!
The first 50 participants to register get a free t-shirt, and EVERYONE gets a wig! (T-shirt sizes subject to availability day of show)
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Washington, NC Harbor District Alliance.
To ensure the safety of everyone, we ask that you leave the following at home: pets, skates, skateboards, bicycles, etc. Music players are allowed but must be turned off during pre-race instructions and when approaching finish line.
All entry fees are non-refundable.

$25 registered by 2/10, then $30
Awards/Categories:
Top 3 overall Male and Female - Top three overall will be awarded with a certificate and George's favorite... cherry pies!
Certificates will be awarded to the top overall in each age category for Male and Female: 12 and under, 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
