Run For Your Life 5K Color Run and Walk

Race Description/Details:
Kinston Community Health Center is a non-profit 501c3 providing comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health Care services in Lenoir and surrounding counties. We provide a sliding scale discount program to every person who comes to the Center for care; however some patients still have financial barriers. It is because of this event that we have been able to provide access to individuals who are uninsured, under insured or have no prescription coverage. Assistance is offered to patients, helping them with their co-pays, not only for the visit, but with their medications as well. We sincerely thank all the participants of this event because you are helping to break down the barriers to healthcare!!

This event is family friendly, and strollers are welcome.

This run will be timed by Run the East LLC. All participants will receive a bib with a disposable timing tag attached to the back of the bib.  Participants should wear the bib on their front during the duration of the race and must not bend or fold the tag.

Free Parking is available on Queen Street, Blount Street, and behind Kinston Community Health Center. 

Registration Fees/Dates/Categories:
Registration is $25.00 and opens March 1, 2019. This includes a race packet containing a T-shirt, color packet, sunglasses, temporary tattoos, and wrist band. 
Everyone will receive color packets; however the T-shirt Packets are first come first serve. T-Shirt sizes available are adult xs through 2xl.

Rates increase after August 1, 2019 11:59 EST to $30.00.

Race packets are only guaranteed to those who register by August 1.

Children 7 and younger are free with a paying adult. 

Groups of 5 or more receive a 5% discount. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount. Once the 5th or 10th team member registers, the first 4 or 9 members will automatically receive the discount back to their original payment method.

Onsite registration will be available from 7:15am-7:45am the day of the event.
