The 2024 Heywood Healthy Harvest 5k "Healing our Healers" event is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024 - Presented by the Heywood Wellness Committee!

We invite you to join us!

Choose a timed run, brisk walk or enjoy a 30 minute facilitated Yoga session. *Virtual participation option.

Proceeds: This year's proceeds will be earmarked for the benefit of the Heywood Healthcare Caring for Colleagues and Employee Wellness Programs!

Our healthcare teams are the bedrock of compassionate care and unwavering dedication. They put their heart and soul into every patient they see, every shift they work, and every challenge they face. Yet, behind their incredible resilience, there lies a pressing need for support that often goes unnoticed and unmentioned: their mental health and wellness. Their well-being is crucial not only for their own health but also for the quality of care they provide to our community. Supporting their wellness means ensuring they have the strength, focus, and resilience to continue their vital work with the compassion and expertise we rely on.

AWARDS: The top male & female winning race participants will be crowned, and age category winners will join the court. An award will also be presented for Most Spirited Team! To start or to join a team please remember to follow the prompt at the bottom of your registration page.

Professional timing system for our race provided by Tri-State Racing Services.
Indoor Yoga Session led by MaryLee Harrington, RY-T200, Fitness & Yoga Instructor .

2024 HH5K Registration options are: Timed Run, Untimed Walk, Yoga Session, or Virtual Run.

ONLINE REGISTRATION closes Oct. 25, 2024.3:00pm (guarantees participant gift for in-person)

Event Timeline:

Registration will open by 7:45am
Kickoff Ceremony at 9:00am
Feet Hit Pavement immediately following the ceremony!
Timed runner awards/recognition at 10:00am
Community Health Fair 8am-11am

Adult rate: $25.

Youth registration offers reduced fees: Ages 7-18 yrs are $15 & children 6 and under are free! (Details will appear within the link as you complete the registration)

All registered participants will receive a 2024 Healthy Harvest 5K gift upon registration check-in. Everyone is encouraged to wear past HH5K shirts to show your past support!
Those who submit a photo wearing any previous HH5k shirt will be entered to win a prize!
Photos may be used on our Facebook page &/or on our website (by submitting photos you agree to promotional use).

ROUTE: Come crush or stroll our 3.1 mile family-friendly scenic course beginning and ending at Heywood Hospital.

Race Route

The Healthy Harvest 5K suggested route takes the runners along Heywood Hospital's wooded walking trail to a half way turnaround point at the end of Crystal Lake. The race begins and ends in the Heywood Hospital parking lot. However, participants can select any route they wish. For competitive participants, the route must meet 5k (3.1M) criteria.
