We're doing it again!

This event turned out to be an EPIC event in 2018! So, we've decided to do it again for the 2nd annual Pensacola Beach Run 2019!

This is a BEACH RUN on Pensacola's beautiful beach (on the sand!).  It starts and ends near the pier.
This event is designed for runners, beach-goers, and people looking for a fun challenge. Choose from two different events to include a 5k and a 10k.

What do I get?

Every finisher will earn a custom medal and bib, a performance shirt, and a beautiful challenge along the beach.

What WON'T I Get?

A certified time.  This is NOT a certified course.  It's a beach run.  A course of this nature can't be certified by the USATF and therefore runners will not receive an official time.


There's free parking near the pier. Park anywhere near the big beach ball and then make your way to the stage!

New This Year!!

We've decided to start recognizing runners who train hard to run the beach! Running on the sand isn't easy. It's a challenge that deserves recognition and celebration, and we now have good reason to start awarding top place finishers. Sorry guys - we won't have age placement awards. We simply won't have enough people to award by age groups.

Here's how it's going to work:

This event will be timed using old-fashioned stop clocks. We'll have two of them - one to record the female runners, the other for the dudes. A photographer will be in place by the finsih line to ensure accuracy. We'll write down your time and record it on a signed certificate by the race director. First, Second, and Third place finisher for both male and female will earn a "Beach-Themed" prize (more on this later)!

Pre-Race Packet Pickup

Because of the location of this event, and the size of our audience, we WILL NOT have a pre-race packet pickup.  Registered runners will be able to pick up their packets on race day one hour before start time.

Military Discount Available

For 2019, we've increased the discount for military service members and veterans from 15% to 20%. We support the U.S. Armed Forces, and we want to give back.

If you're a military service member, reservist, or a veteran of the U.S. military, you get a 20% discount on your registration. To qualify for this discount, you'll be required to show one of the following forms of identification to the volunteers at the registration tent. Without these documents, you will be banned from future NeoEndurance races.

  1. Military CAC ID (must not say "Civilian" or "Contractor")
  2. Retiree ID Card
  3. Veteran Affairs ID Card
  4. Driver's License with "V" symbol.

A DD-214 alone is not sufficient without photo identification that matches your document.  In an effort to prevent fraud and abuse, while ensuring that military service members and veterans receive recognition for their services, you'll be asked to show one of the above forms of ID when you pick up your bib packet. This is a rain or shine event.  We don't anticipate a drastic change in temperature.  It is, after-all, the "Sunshine State".  However, in the unusual circumstance that this event is cancelled due to extreme weather (hurricane, lightning or heavy unrelenting downpour), there will be NO REFUND! Instead, we will postpone the event to the next available weekend.

In the event of lightning in the area, we will postpone the event by an hour, possibly longer, or until the "all-clear" is given by park and race officials.
