Race to the Market 5k

Kick off your summer and help celebrate the tenth season of the Rockford City Market with this fun event for the entire family! Both the 5k and kid's .25M courses will start and finish on State Street in front of the Market Pavilion.

Please note that this course does cross RR tracks. This is a freight train route and there are no schedules for traffic. If a train does come thru during the course of the race, course volunteers will instruct racers to stop until the train passes. This is not an occurrence that we can control, please use common sense for your own safety.

Race entry (including special 17 and under pricing) includes event shirt (first 150), custom finisher medal, post-race refreshments from the Market, and more. 5k is chip timed and  custom cooling towels will be given for age group awards 3 deep.

PACKET PICK-UP INFO:  Packet pickup and late registration (Cash or check) will be on: (1) Thursday evening (6/6) at Runner's Image from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., (2) Friday afternoon and evening (6/7) at Runner's Image from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Registration will increase $5 on Friday for the 5K.
