B.W. Furlong & Associates presents Not One More Vet 5K

B.W. Furlong & Associates presents Not One More Vet 5k for mental health awareness in the veterinary industry. This is a run/walk event on a relatively easy course! Please pre-register! Guaranteed t-shirts and sizing choice will close on 10/21, afterwards it will be first come first serve. Day of registration will be $35. All proceeds will be donated to Not One More Vet.

Dogs are welcome at the park as spectators to cheer on their favorite participants!

Mental health has been a steady yet growing concern in the veterinary industry. The CDC has found that male veterinarians are 2.1 times, and female veterinarians 3.5 times, more likely to die by suicide than the general U.S. population. These are alarming numbers and the way that we begin to make a change is by creating awareness. We have partnered with Not One More Vet (nomv.org) to put on a 5k to help raise awareness throughout our community. All proceeds from the race will be donated to NOMV, an online veterinary support group. We invite you to participate on November 2nd to help this cause.
