Florence Neal Cooper Smith Sickle Cell 5K

Please join F.A.C.T.S. (Finding a Cure Together 4 Sickle Cell), the Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, and the Zenobia's Promise Foundation to walk for a cure for sickle cell disease. The MCV Foundation is pleased to be the beneficiary of the annual Florence Neal Cooper Smith 5K to support the Florence Neal Cooper Smith Professorship at VCU.  

All event proceeds and special donations will go to the Florence Neal Cooper Smith Professorship Fund at the VCU School of Medicine which will contribute to the research, effective treatment and maintenance care for sickle cell disease.

Check-in starts at 8:00 a.m. and the walk is from 9 a.m. to noon.
