Yep. That's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up at the cramped starting line of a 5K run at 8 in the morning, drenched in rain, after eight pints of Guinness the night before.
Well, that was the 3rd annual Tunnel to Towers run that I participated in, last year, much to the chagrin of my chiropractor. But not so much to the chagrin of the hundreds of military veterans and 9/11 families that benefit from the raising of both awareness and money for their circumstances.
Since 9/11, this 4-star rated charity has been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children, and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
And it's that time of year again where I ask you to contribute to beat last year's raise. Over the past three years, I have personally raised around $100,000 for this extremely worthy cause.
So, considering the importance of the subject and the worthiness of the recipients, please dig deep and sponsor whatever you can, today.
