I AM TOUGH RUCKING FOR AMERICA'S FALLEN MILITARY & FIRST RESPONDERS
This April, I am honored to participate in Tough Ruck 26.2 Boston alongside other members of my Army Reserve Unit, the 655th Regional Support Group (RSG), based at Westover Air Reserve Base in Massachusetts. Together, we will complete a marathon with weighted rucksacks to honor and remember America’s Fallen Military and First Responders.
For me, this ruck is more than just a physical challenge, it’s a deeply personal mission to raise awareness and funds for the loved ones of America’s fallen heroes. During my time in St. Petersburg, FL, I served as a Casualty Assistance Officer (CAO), providing support to the dependents of a fallen Soldier from Fort Stewart, GA. That experience profoundly shaped my perspective on the sacrifices made by our Warriors and the impact on their families.
I witnessed both heartbreak and joy as families navigated the loss of their loved ones. From the pain of saying goodbye to the smiles that came from receiving their Soldier’s belongings or trips to Disney, I saw firsthand how much these families cherish the legacy of their fallen heroes. While we can never replace the life of a loved one, events like Tough Ruck remind us that their sacrifices will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
This ruck is a way to honor their families and ensure their loved ones’ legacies live on. I am proud to take on this challenge and humbly ask for your support. Your tax-deductible donation will provide critical resources and care to Warriors and their families, helping them in their hour of need.
Together, we can honor the Fallen, support their families, and ensure their sacrifices are remembered forever.
