Rescued from the Humane Society of Pinellas last year (the pic is the day I met him), Ricotta is a very happy member of the Pill Family! We couldn’t be more thankful to HSP for taking such good care of him when he came to them underweight and riddled with heartworms. This silly senior loves walkies (or strollies), all food and drink, and hanging out with his cat brother and sister Bjork and Gus Gus. He does the crossword and Wordle with me on the couch every morning after breakfast, and although he gets to nap in my bed, he has his own room at night because of his extreme snoring (and farting).
Please help us raise funds for the Humane Society of Pinellas – not many organizations would do what they did for Ricotta. He needed immense medical treatment as a heartworm-positive senior. They do so much for dogs that don’t get a fair shot!
Ricotta and I will be participating at the 4th Annual Walk for Whiskers 2024 - we did quite well last year thanks to your help! Ricotta even won the Grand Prize. Please consider donating!
The Humane Society of Pinellas (HSP) is a no-kill animal shelter located in Pinellas County. They are dedicated to providing individualized care for every animal that enters the shelter. They ensure that every treatable animal receives their necessary medical treatment. They promise that no animal will be euthanized for a treatable condition while in their care. Not only is HSP a 99% Live Release Rate shelter but they offer community programs such as the Pet Food Pantry and Senior Pet Connection that ensure pets stay in their homes and do not need to be surrendered to a shelter.
Thank you so much for supporting Ricotta and the countless sweeties like him that need a chance.
