Ride the Keweenaw 2024

Registration is open for our 2024 Ride the Keweenaw events!

Ride the Keweenaw is all about exploring the amazing natural and recreational resources the Keweenaw region has to offer. Best of all, you get to ride all of the Copper Country's amazing trails, from Söké all the way to Copper Harbor and everywhere in between.

Join us this Memorial Day weekend for three days of non-stop mountain bike riding.  Starting on Friday May 24th, take a guided ride through the underground caverns of Adventure Mine, checking out the bats and old copper mine workings along the way.  The surface trails there are among the most rugged in the Copper Country!  On Saturday May 25th, we'll wake up bright and early with a ride at the Michigan Tech Trails.  Bring the whole family because there will be a variety of rides for people of all abilities.  Later in the afternoon we'll head over to Churning Rapids and explore these backcountry trails close to home.  Finally, we'll wrap up our Saturday with a late-afternoon ride on the twisty, turny, and all-ages Swedetown Trails.

On Saturday, May 25th we will hold a Family Enduro race.  Held at the Michigan Tech Trails, this enduro will feature 2-3 relatively short stages with minimal pedaling between them.  Designed with families in mind, the race will be competitive but not too competitive.  Families and friends can ride together as one group for bonus fun.  If you have young riders with you we'll give you extra time to make it down the course so you don't have to worry about faster riders catching you.  

On Sunday, May 26th, the riding shifts north to Copper Harbor for our season kickoff.  The first Lake Superior Gravity Series Enduro of 2024 kicks off in the morning with 2-3 stage Sport and 3-4 stage Expert classes (projected). Space is limited for each, register early to make sure you get in!  We're also adding a Class 1 E-bike category in our RTK Enduro for people who really want to turn up the speed.  Following our last day of riding, we'll gather up at the Mariner for the unveiling of our 2024 ArtBike posters.  

All group rides are free, although donations to the club of your choice are appreciated!  The Copper Harbor Enduro is $50 and after May 1st rises to $60, while the Family Enduro is $30-$35/adults, $15/ages 13-17, and $10/under 13.  Help support our local trails by registering today!
