Cancer Doesn't Care But WE Do 5K Run/Walk

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. Like many cancer survivors, after all the "storm" of physical treatments and emotional upheaval settled, I was left still needing some support to understand how to move forward. NBCR was introduced to me by a friend and I began attending their monthly ZOOM meetings where so much wonderful information is shared. The ZOOMs were important to me because they made me feel less alone in the struggles I and so many other survivors deal with long after their treatment is done. Cancer changes you, in body and mind, and ongoing care for yourself is so important. NBCR is a kind and caring and generous organization and I would love to be able to give back to them and help them reach more people. Building community is not a prescription you will get from your doctor, but it is healing in so many ways and NBCR is filling this void for so many.
