I'm participating in this event to raise crucial awareness for epilepsy and to honor the memory of Joanna Sophia Ioannou.
Epilepsy has deeply affected my family: my sister has lived with it since her teens, my cousin has bravely endured it since he was a young child, and my late father experienced epileptic seizures later in life due to frontal temporal dementia.
Beyond my family's journey, I also serve on the board of Roula's Kids, an incredible organization in New York that provides vital support and connection to grieving children and their families.
It's truly an honor to walk/run for this meaningful cause, and I am committed to exceeding my $500 goal to amplify awareness and bring much-needed support to both the epilepsy community and grieving children. Your contribution can make a profound difference.
