Running for AZ children

Running 125 miles in support of Prescott Pregnancy Center and AZ Baptist foster care!

My name is Dana Eisenhour, thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

I have decided that 2025 is the year to tackle my biggest running goal to date-125 miles!  I have also chosen to run under a charity bib. While not all the funds that will be donated will be going to my charities specifically, they will benefit from your donations. Along with Wander Project (Aravaipa’s non profit partner), I have chosen Prescott Community Pregnancy Center and Arizona Baptist Arms of Love (foster care) to be my charities.  I am running to honor the work these two groups do to preserve life and allow children a chance for safe and loving homes.

A little more info on me, the 'why' and how your funds will be used:  Running started out as a means to an end-run to get fit for a mud run, then sign up for small races to keep the motivation for running strong. If I didn't have a goal I wouldn't run. But over time the mindset shifted and I appreciated running-half marathon distances spoke to me.  Then a friend introduced me to trail running.  Over the last 3-4 years my physical and mental endurance have grown in the trail world.  This new goal for May 2025 will push everything in me.  But, having a stronger reason other than "just finishing" is what will keep me going.  The world of foster care and adoption has become a part of who I am the last 8 years.  And while our journey is still evolving and we're still figuring it out, I want to do what I can to continue to give back to this special community.  And our local pregnancy center has always had a place in our hearts-we're grateful for their mission in speaking for the unborn.  Your donation will be going to three charities-my two, along with Wander Project.  65% of your donation will go to my two charities, with the rest being given to Wander Project to help fund my race bib and continue the work they do throughout the country.  All of your donations given through the website will be tax deductible.

Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey!  I'm so excited and can't wait to toe the start line in Jerome, AZ on May 7, 2025.  Websites included for more information
