On a sunny Sunday morning 9/19/2021, I felt something was wrong. I went to the hospital, expecting to hear, "everything is fine, but let's deliver Charlotte two weeks early". Never would I have expected our doctor to look up from the ultrasound machine and say "I'm sorry". Our perfectly healthy baby girl Charlotte was taken from us two weeks before her due date. She was born on 9/20/2021, 5lbs 2oz, 19" long, a little hair, long fingers and big feet, just like big sister Piper.
Her time with us was far too brief, but her impact on our lives is immeasurable. In honor of her memory, we are raising funds to support Butterfly Baskets who provide resources and comfort items to families grieving the loss of their baby.
