This October, I’m embarking on an exhilarating challenge to run the Javelina Jundred—a 100-mile ultramarathon through the beautiful desert landscapes of Arizona. While the physical challenge is daunting, my true motivation runs much deeper.
I am running under a charity bib for Donor Network West, a cause close to my heart and integral to our work at Doloromics, where we collaborate to obtain organ donor tissues for groundbreaking research. Every step I take in this race is in honor of those who have given the gift of life and the hope they offer to many awaiting transplants.
