Hello, and welcome to my fundraising page!
My connection to Outward Bound started when my mom encouraged me to go on a canoe trip in the North Woods of Maine back in high school. My experience sparked a life long love of the outdoors, adventure and exploration. After my mom passed away suddenly in 2016, I realized that supporting this organization would be the perfect way to honor her memory.
When I moved to Boston in 2022, I was grateful to discover the Cathleen stone Outward Bound school, whose mission is to provide free, transformative programs that combine hands-on science learning with their approach to team-building and social-emotional development
Along with my participation in Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound's Annual 4K Trail Run, I am also raising money to support the students they serve. A student's experience on the Island can have a significantly positive impact on their personal growth and academic success, and this organization focuses on working with the students in Boston who need these experiences the most.
All funds raised through my campaign will go directly toward supporting their programs, and will give future students the opportunity to realize their full potential on the Island!
