Description

Join us on Sunday , October 6th for the 8th annual “Run for the Angels and Family’s fun Day”(run, jog, or however you roll)! Our walk is to remember our children who have died, raise awareness of pregnant and infant loss and provide a day to enjoy your family and friends. 


Registration to walk is $25 for 14 and older, children are free; unless with your registration you want to purchase a 2019 Run for the Angels t-shirt for $15.00. Adult registration (14 and older) come with a shirt. Our shirts honor our children with a complete list of their names. *Register by Sept. 24 to guarantee a shirt* Of course, donations are always appreciated.
“Run for the Angels” fun run/walk launches at the beautiful McEuen Park, and continues along the marked pathway to the turn-around sign located at the halfway point where water and snacks will be waiting to fuel you for your return to the starting point. Have no fear, the trail will be clearly marked so you won't get lost. There are about 130 signs along the route with photos honoring our children. Upon your return to Riverstone Park, there will be plenty of water, light snacks, and music, music music to enjoy!
Visit the vender tables between 12 PM and 2 pm to enjoy complimentary face-painting, jump houses, rock painting and an emotional night support area complete with stations where you can create a luminary and send a message to heaven via a balloon.  Many local vendors (major run sponsors) will be set up with fun things to do.

12:00-1:45 PM Silent Auction and registration

 2:00 PM Opening Ceremony and Remembrance Ceremony- message Liz if you would like your child’s name read, added to our shirt and a sign along the route. All children honored in previous years will automatically be added again this year. 208-557-4371

  2:30 PM "Run for the Angels” begins 

Would you like to win the traveling trophy? It is awarded to the team who brings in the most donations! We encourage you to use Facebook to create a fundraiser to collection donations! Be sure to let us know you are doing this so we can track your progress. Please let Liz know by emailing her at info@inwsids.org All donations will be used to continue our "Healing Together" grief support program for those who have been affected by a pregnancy, infant or child loss in our community

Packet Pick Up: You may pick up your packet Saturday, October 5 from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. at our office,  1130 North 4th Street or Sunday afternoon, October 6 between 12 PM-1:45 PM at McEuen Park.

Kids Corner Sponsored by Post Falls Volkswagen Come early and have some fun! Activities include jump house, special princess appearances, face painting, ice cream, pizza and more!

Remembrance Ceremony: The Remembrance Ceremony will be part of the Opening Ceremony. Email info@inwsids.org if you would like your baby's name read at the ceremony.
