We are on a mission to stop ALS so come run LOCO with us at our 13th annual race benefiting the Emory ALS Center. The Fiesta 5k Challenge brings everyone out for a morning of health & fitness, awareness for ALS and celebrating life. 5k runners/walkers will love the beautiful Big Creek Greenway course – a 12 foot wide concrete and boardwalk path winding through the woods along Big Creek. It is flat and fast! The Fun Run takes place on the track at Fowler Park.

Friday, April 26th -- 11am** to 6:00pm - North GA Running Co, 5456 Bethelview Rd., Cumming, GA 30040
** We will not hand out any packets before 11am.
Saturday, April 27th - 7:00am - Fowler Park, 4110 Carolene Way, Cumming, GA 30040.
Awards will be presented in the 5k distance.

Since 2007, Team Duffy/Cure for ALS has hosted the event that brings entire families out to participate in this well-organized race on the beautiful Big Creek Greenway in Cumming, GA. The Fiesta 5k Challenge has raised over $280,000 for the Emory ALS Center. ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a neuromuscular disease that attacks the brain and spinal cord. It takes away the ability to move, speak, swallow and ultimately breathe. The Emory ALS Center is part of the Emory Brain Health Center, led by Dr. Jonathan Glass, is one of the largest clinical centers for ALS in the United States. Their team approach to ALS care and research bridges multiple disciplines and departments, all sharing the same goal of a world without ALS.
