We had such a memorable time in Jacksonville last year that we will be running for the DONNA Foundation again in 2025!!!
The girls will try and improve on their time, and I am taking on my FIRST FULL MARATHON, 26.2 miles!!!
I've always said if I took on a full, I wanted it to be meaningful and purposeful and I cannot think of a better organization to raise money for and run to support....so 26.2 training here I come! And we got dad out of retirement as he will tackle the half on Jacksonville Beach, we are in for a fully family affair this year for Claire's birthday weekend!
The DONNA Foundations mission is to provide financial assistance and support to those living with breast cancer and to fund groundbreaking breast cancer research. Each year they serve nearly 1,500 families, securing about $500K in debt relief and financial services annually.
- They have established a CareLine where they assist those going through treatment with financial assistance.
- For every $50 raised, someone gets transportation to treatment.
- For every $100 raised, someone will be able to pay a utility bill during treatment.
No one should have to choose between necessities and cancer treatment…no one!
