RUNNING FOR RISING HEARTS!
This October, Rising Hearts was kind enough to accept me as a charity bib runner for the 2024 Javelina Jundred-100K distance. As a Charity Bib runner I am tasked to raise money for a charitable cause. I pledged to individually raise $2,000.00, turning my running passion into purpose to help support the efforts to raise money! Rising Hearts is an Indigenous led grassroots organization committed to the heart work in elevating indigenous voice, promoting, and supporting intersectional collaborative efforts across all forms of movements in cultivating community with the goals of racial, social, climate and economic justice. I’m so excited to be raising money for Rising Hearts. $2K is a lot of money, and I know getting there will take time and with your help.

Challenges force you to tap into your creativity with ways to overcome them. As you go through challenges, you become stronger. Challenges are an excellent opportunity for growth. They test your commitment to your goals & when you overcome them you develop emotional & mental strength. In the Navajo Language we say Awołíbee Ánít’i Yéego Ánít’i - Try Hard and Keep At It!
I am passionate about this campaign because it contributes to a greater cause, one that is deeply meaningful to me. I am a Diné Ultra Runner from Tsaile, AZ, Navajo Nation and a runner with the ReNew Earth Running team for the past 3 years. My Rising Hearts charity bib fundraiser is now live (link in BIO)!
