I’ve been a lifeguard on Rhode Island’s beaches for the past 9 summers — watching over thousands of beachgoers, responding to emergencies, and doing everything I can to keep our coast safe. But water safety goes beyond the shoreline.
This year, I’m taking on the Inaugural Ocean State Crossing — a 15-mile paddle race from Newport to Point Judith — to help raise $600 in support of drowning prevention, cancer prevention/cardiac health, and coastal sustainability.
Your donation directly supports life-saving efforts like public access defibrillators, community education, and sustainable coastal initiatives right here in the Ocean State. I’ve seen firsthand how critical these resources are — and I’m committed to making the ocean safer for everyone.
This mission is deeply personal to me, and I would be so grateful for any amount you can give. Every dollar makes a difference.
Summer Safe Ocean State is a registered L3C organization with a mission of positively impacting and directly supporting the safety, health, and future of our coastal communities.
Thank you for supporting this cause and being part of the impact
