Race Packet Pick-Up –  We will be hosting packet pick-up on Friday, November 1st from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm in the Carl DeSantis courtyard. You can also grab your packet on event day starting at 6:30 am. NSU’s address is 3301 College Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, 33314. If you type in Carl DeSantis Building NSU into Waze or Google Maps it will bring you to the correct building on campus. From University Drive, turn onto SW 30th Street (Abe Fischler Blvd), proceed to Ray Ferraro Jr. Blvd; make a right and park in the garage to your right.  PLEASE NOTE:  YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PICK UP ANY OTHER PACKET BUT YOUR OWN. EVERY REGISTERED PERSON MUST SIGN THEIR OWN WAIVER BEFORE THEIR BIB (WITH THE TIMING CHIP) IS RELEASED.

Race Start Times – On November 2nd, the Sallarulo 5k race will start at 8:00 am ALONG Ray Ferraro Jr. Blvd.  Rain or Shine! Please note: streets along the race route will be closed by 7:30 am.  Please allow enough time to park your vehicle and get your spot at the start line. Allow extra time if you do not pick up your packet on November 1st.

Chip Timing - The 5k will be chip timed. Your timing device for this event is a disposable tag affixed to the back of your bib number. To receive an accurate time, please make sure your bib is visible on the front of the torso, unaltered and unmodified (DO NOT fold or wrinkle), pin all four corners, and not covered by jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc. Pins are included in your race packet. Split Second Timing will accurately provide you with time.

Parking – Parking on Nov. 2nd is FREE courtesy of NSU! There will be ample parking in the garage to your right as you turn onto Ray Ferraro Jr. Blvd. Please keep in mind that, because of street closures, your car will not be able to exit the lot until all race runners and walkers have cleared portions of the course, which will happen at approximately 9 AM.

Finisher Medals – Medals will be given out to all runners and walkers at the end of the race. Only registered runners & walkers will receive a medal.

Carnival of Champions - Join us after the run/walk in the courtyard for our vendor village. Enjoy giveaways from our sponsors & partners, breakfast bites from AnnMarie’s Catering & Freshpoint, pancakes by the Knights of Columbus, and fun activities like face painting and live music. Bring your family and friends for a day of fun!
