On June 9th, my family is taking steps to make life better for kids with special needs. We will participate in in the Susan McDaniel Run for Lovelane 5K (1/2 Mile Fun Run) to raise money for the Lovelane Tuition Assistance Program which provides much needed support so that children in need can receive highly impactful and beneficial therapy at Lovelane, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
My daughter, Isabel, is one of those kids. She has been riding at Lovelane since July 2020—nearly five years! Over the years, she has made incredible progress, building core strength, balance, and endurance while also improving her focus, rein control, and confidence in the saddle. Isabel is also working on articulating sounds more clearly and strengthening her breath support for stronger speech—all while growing as a more independent rider and, most importantly, having tons of fun! Her attendance is made possible because of this tuition assistance program.
Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program is a local pediatric therapeutic program serving children ages 2 to 20 with various medical diseases and conditions. Lovelane provides $65,000 in tuition assistance to families annually, which can only continue with support through fundraising events like this race.

My goal is to raise $500. Your support will help make my participation a success!
