EVENT TIMING

Note: The times listed below are *approximate*, other than a prompt 2:00 pm start. Please ensure you arrive with adequate time to get yourself to the start line, as you don't want to miss your race! Each event will start once all participants have crossed the finish line from the prior event.

2:00 pm - 1 Mile

2:15 pm - 5K Competitive Event

2:20 pm - 5K Non Competitive Run/Walk

3:15 PM - Prize presentation for 1 Mile and 5K events

3:30 pm - Toddler Trot (40m) for children aged 18 to 35 months (1 non-competitive race for Fun and Participation)

3:35 pm - 400m (1 LAP OF FIELD), GIRLS aged 3 years - 6 years

3:40 pm - 400m (1 LAP OF FIELD), BOYS aged 3 years - 6 years

3:45 pm - 800m (2 LAPS OF FIELD), GIRLS aged 7 years - 10 years

3:55 pm - 800m ((2 LAPS OF FIELD), BOYS aged 7 years - 10 years

4:05 pm - Prize presentation for 400m and 800m events

WIND, RAIN, OR SHINE

Note: Registration fees are non-refundable. The event will go on in the event of wind, rain, shine or illness!

AWARDS

1. 1 Mile Event age awards 9-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17+ (1 race. Minimum age 7. 9 years and under must be accompanied by an adult)
2. 5K Competitive Event age awards 10-13, 14-16, 17+ (Minimum age 10 for competitive event)
3. 5K Non Competitive Event (No age minimum, however children 10 years and under must be accompanied by an adult)
4. 400m (1 LAP OF FIELD) Event age awards 3-4 and 5-6
5. 800m (2 LAPS OF FIELD)  Event age awards 7-8 and 9-10

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

• 1 Mile: Children under 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on the course
• 5K Competitive event: Participants must be 10 years or older. Children under 10 may enter the non-competitive category and must be accompanied by an adult (18+)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• FREE registration for Saltus teachers & admin staff! Please use coupon code Staff (typed exactly like this) on the payment screen.
• STROLLERS are only allowed in the non-competitive walk; please start near the back to avoid interference.
• DOGS are NOT allowed at the Start/Finish area for the safety of participants.
• NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION. Valid overseas credit card is required for payment.

PARKING, NUMBER PICKUP AND ENTRY DEADLINE

• Parking: Available at the Senior School and Upper Primary parking lots, with overflow at Bulls Head.
• Number pick-up: Saturday, November 21 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Balcony Outside Woodlands Building at St John campus. Enter via the front gate on St. John's Road.
• Entry deadline: Online registration is open until Saturday at midnight. Numbers not picked up on Saturday will be available at the start of the event.

• 1Mile - Ages 14-16  Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Girls / Boys
• 1Mile - 17+ Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Female / Male
• 5K Competitive - Ages 10-13 Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Girls / Boys

The Saltus Association is Saltus’ Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) and all parents and staff are automatically welcomed as members. The Saltus Association was formed nearly 80 years ago and has been a registered charity working in accordance with the Bermuda Charities Act for 43 years.
