I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
For my first year participating I’m riding in memory of Bobby Watson. He was my best friend’s brother and like a brother to me. The life of the party for sure, genuinely caring, generous, boisterous and stubborn to the end. Truly had a heart of gold, a warrior in my eyes.
I’m also riding for the numerous family and friends who have survived and battled the Evil C as my Auntie Donna calls it.
