We are excited to announce our new SCSU Homecoming Virtual Run/Walk, which will take the place of the traditional Homecoming Run in 2020. The Virtual Race will be October 12 - 25 and is open to everyone!
The COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic upheaval is hitting St. Cloud State’s most vulnerable students especially hard. Fifty percent of all Homecoming Run proceeds will be donated to the SCSU Student Emergency Fund. Thank you for supporting our students during these unprecedented times.
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN?
In a virtual run, you will run a 5k which is 3.1 miles, on your own, making sure you follow social distancing guidelines. Map out a route where ever you are! Keep track of your time and submit your time using the option below.
WHEN IS THE RUN?
The time frame for completing the run is from October 12 - 25. You can submit your race result starting 9:00 am on October 12. Your last chance to submit your results are Sunday, October 25 at 11:59 p.m.
HOW DO I REGISTER?

Registration Closes October 18 at 11:59pm
WHAT DO I GET WITH MY REGISTRATION?
50% of your registration fee will be donated to the SCSU Student Emergency Fund the rest will cover the fees for your race kit and the mailing out of your race kit.
Race kit includes online Finisher Certificate, online Official Race Number, T-shirt and Blizzard Gaiter. Those registering by September 21 will receive the T-shirt and Gaiter in the mail the week of Homecoming. Those registering between September 22 - October 17th will receive their T-shirt and Gaiter in the mail two weeks following the event.
Race Number: Once you register you will receive a confirmation email which will include a link to your personalized bib number. You will also be able to print out your bib number by clicking the Find A Participant link on the menu to the left and then click the bib number assigned to your name. You can also click the View Digital Bib link on your Profile page, when you are logged into your Runsignup account.
Finisher Certificate: After you Submit Your Virtual Results you will be able to printout your Finisher Certificate on the Runsignup Results page.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR TIME?
You may submit your time October 12 - 25, 2020.
There will be various ways to submit your time including clicking the Results button to the left or click here. For a detailed explanation of the various options for submitting your time or if you are having trouble submitting a time, please click here.
You can take a screenshot/photo of your time and race route using an app like Strava or Garmin, if you have that available, in case we run into any issues or need to verify your run. But that is not required. And, don’t forget to take a great selfie to include on a Facebook post.
Pickle Events will compile the results.
WHAT ABOUT RESULTS?
Results will be available at the Results Link October 12 - 25. After October 25, you can find overall results and age group results for those races at www.pickleevents.com/r/2020/scsuhomecoming. You will also receive an email with a link to the results site at that time.
