Cocodona Charity Bibs

Help me in supporting Kingman UNIFIED Special Olympics via the Special Olympics Arizona charity organization for Cocodona 2026!

Ever since the inaugural year in 2021, I knew that I wanted to toe the line at the Cocodona 250 miler and trek across Arizona on foot from Black Canyon City to Flagstaff. I chose to wait before committing to training and preparing for Cocodona until this year because I wanted to focus on raising our son, finish earning my bachelor's degree in education (K-8), and establish my career as a teacher. I am currently a 5th grade teacher, and I love it! Some good friends suggested to me that I should run with a charity bib to raise funds for a charity. I thought about it long and hard for an entire year. There are so many amazing charities out there to support, but I knew that I wanted it to be one that supports our local rural youth. For Cocodona, I have agreed to raise funds for our local Kingman UNIFIED Special Olympics athletes and their program! This is meaningful to me because my youngest sister has been a Special Olympics athlete in Arizona for many years. It has had a positive impact on her life and provided her with many opportunities to train and compete with other Special Olympics athletes. It has given her opportunities to shine. This is a gift that we can continue to give to our deserving Special Olympics youth athletes here in Kingman and the surrounding areas. I cannot do it without your support. Let's show our youth that we are here for them, we see them, we care about them, and we are rooting for them! A donation of any size will help me get across the finish line.
