Whether this is your destination triathlon, or a training event for an upcoming 70.3, don't miss Fresno County's longest-running multisport event, the Shaver Lake Triathlon. The crisp mountain air is a relief from the hot days of summer. The altitude gives this race an extra challenge as you compete in either the Sprint or Olympic distance. Hurry back, there is food and music waiting for you after the race.

Aquabike- 400 yd swim, 11.4 mi bike 
Duathlon- 3.1 mi run, 11.4 mi bike, 1.77 mi run 


Triathlon- 1600 yd swim, 23 mi bike, 6.2 mi run 
Aquabike- 1600 yd swim, 23 mi bike 
Duathlon- 6.2 mi run, 23 mi bike, 3.1 mi run

  • 5+ Kayaks/Paddleboards/Lifeguards in the water.
  • EMT and First Responders on site, American Ambulance on standby.
  • 2+ Contracted CHP officers on Highway 168
  • 2 Contracted officers from Fresno County Sheriff's office controlling traffic speed on Dinky Creek Road
