💗🌎 PTC SHE RISES: A GLOBAL MOVEMENT FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS 🌎💗
At PTC Therapeutics, She Rises is dedicated to bringing awareness to issues that impact women in the workplace, outside the workplace, and throughout every stage of our health and wellness journeys.
This October, we are taking that mission GLOBAL.
On October 3, 2026, PTC She Rises will participate in the Sister 2 Sister Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in Somerset, New Jersey. While some of us will walk together in person, we invite our PTC colleagues around the world to participate virtually and help us turn one walk into a global movement.
💗 OCTOBER 3 IS THE WALK. OCTOBER IS THE CAMPAIGN. AWARENESS IS EVERY DAY.
Although our official walk takes place on October 3, our fundraising and awareness campaign will continue throughout the entire month of October.
Why?
Because breast cancer awareness shouldn't begin on October 1 and end on October 31.
October gives us an opportunity to amplify the conversation, but our hope is to inspire something that lasts much longer: a daily commitment to being aware of our bodies, prioritizing our health, encouraging screenings and appropriate medical care, and reminding the women around us to take care of themselves.
As women, we are constantly MOVING. Building careers. Caring for families. Supporting friends. Serving our communities. Showing up for everyone else.
Sometimes, we need a reminder to show up for ourselves, too.
🌎 WHEREVER YOU ARE, YOU CAN BE PART OF THE MOVEMENT.
Throughout October, we encourage PTC colleagues, families, friends, and communities around the world to walk, donate, share, educate, and start conversations about breast cancer awareness.
Walk with us in Somerset on October 3.
Walk virtually from your own city or country.
Walk another day in October.
Donate throughout the month.
Share our campaign.
Encourage someone you love to prioritize their health.
Whether you're in New Jersey or across the globe, every step, every conversation, every shared message, and every act of support helps extend our reach.
🌎 OUR GOAL IS BIGGER THAN A FUNDRAISING NUMBER.
We want to raise funds, but we also want to raise AWARENESS.
We want to see this message travel across PTC, across communities, across countries, and across time zones.
One company. Many countries. One global movement.
October 3 is our walk.
October is our campaign.
But awareness is EVERY DAY. 💗
