St. John Paul II Sweetheart 5K Run Walk benefitting SJPII Athletics

DESCRIPTION: 
Enjoy your morning run (or walk) around the beautiful, scenic Southwood Community area. Awards, drinks, games and fundraisers! Meet your favorite athletes and coaches ... bring your sweetheart running partner and signup! Fun for the entire family! Music, 50/50 raffle, activities, and more! 

RACE INFORMATION: 
The race starts at 8:30 AM. 
Packet pickup starts 7:00AM and ends 15 minutes before the race starts.
Registration includes: Entry, Drink, Race Shirt (if registered before Jan 31)
Registration:
    $30  - Before Feb 01, 2024 -$30
    $35  - Feb 01-10, 2024 
    $20  - Before Feb 01 - STUDENTS (elementary, middle, high school) 
    $25 -  Feb 01-10, 2024 

Online registration closes Feb. 9th 4:00pm. Please register at St. John Paul II Catholic High School (5100 Terrebone) Feb 10th beginning at 7:00am.

BEST COSTUME: 
It is not required to wear a costume, but we do encourage it.

RACE RULES:
Entry fees are non-refundable, with no exceptions. 
We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. 
All times are based on gun time.
No dogs/animals on the course.
Strollers are permitted.

RACE COURSE:
Start is on Terrebone Drive a little south of the south entrance to SJPII school.

1. Run south about 100 meters and turn right onto Schoolhouse Road.  Runners will stay in right lane of road.
2. Right onto Four Oaks
3. Right onto Shumard Oaks
4. Slight right onto Grove Park, crossing over to left lane of Grove Park.
5. Left onto lake path.
6. Left at next lake path intersection.  
7. Follow path around loop, runners will be directed at path intersections by course volunteers and arrows.
8. Path returns to Grove Park, cross Grove Park onto Terrebone. 
9. Turn left into first (North) school entrance, finish in front of gate.
