Children’s Advocacy Center of North & Northwest Cook County (CAC) empowers children to overcome trauma from physical and sexual violence through empathetic collaboration and culturally sensitive services for the victims and their families. We provide specialized interviewing, advocacy, medical and therapeutic services for children who have experienced abuse and the non-offending members of their families. From the Forensic Interview to the last therapy session, CAC provides comprehensive services to ensure that our clients are building resiliency in order to live healthier lives. All services are provided at no cost to families and in English and Spanish. Since 1989, we have helped over 16,000 children and families.
