Description
Enjoy running a fabulous coastal route to raise money for literacy. The historic Smith Point Bridge is the focal point, offering a panoramic ocean vista; the finish line is at the beach.
COURSE:
5 Kilometer Run starting at The Smith Point Park parking lot
And
Finishing at the TWA Flight 800 Memorial
ELIGIBILITY:
5 Kilometer runners must be 5 years of age or older. All participants must be able to
Run or Walk the course in 1:30:00 minutes or less.
CHECK-IN:
Registration and check in 7:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. at Smith Point Park
ENTRY FEE:
Pre_Registration fee $22 Dollars
Day of race entry fee is $25 (Cash Only)
Entry fee includes t-shirt and refreshments
AWARDS:
Top Three Overall Male and Female
And the top Three men and women and in the following age groups:
9 & Under 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
NOTE:
The Community Family Literacy Project, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote family literacy in the area served by the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library. It was created exclusively to provide programs and services that encourage and support literacy for all ages.
