Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon, Jesse Owens 5K, 1 Mile & Kids Run

Dear Family and Friends,

As a nurse in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, I am so excited and honored to participate as a Children's Champion in partnership with the Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon &1/2 Marathon. A lot has happened over the past couple of years and the hospital and the patients they treat still need our support. This marathon means a little more than just a race, as I've personally taken care of many sick hearts over the years. Every mile along the route, every patient champion, I am reminded of those who I've taken care of, the ones who will never have the chance to run, and those whose race in this life has finished all too soon.

Now, more than ever, the dollars we raise are critical. So many of us are experiencing challenges like we have never faced in our lifetime and, as you can imagine, Nationwide Children’s Hospital is no exception. 

My personal fundraising goal for this program is to be as generous as you're willing. Any contribution you can make is greatly appreciated and will make a difference in the lives of children and families worldwide. Nationwide Children's Hospital is proud to treat patients from 50 states and over 60 countries.
