Welcome to our Team Page. The Student Movement Against Cancer at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School hosted our first virtual Relay for Life event on May 15th, 2020 to honor and remember those who have fought this disease. Just because our Relay event has passed does not mean that our fight has ended. We continue to work year round to give back to organizations, like the American Cancer Society, who are working to put an end to cancer.
We've formed this team because cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we’ll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
The money our team raises helps the American Cancer Society in so many ways. It's helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It's providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives. Consider donating to our team and helping advance the cause.
Join us. Donate today. Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
