Get ready to add some sizzle to your summer! The Lakewood Summer Meltdown, sponsored by Melt Bar & Grilled and presented by LakewoodAlive, is back for its 10th year on Saturday, July 13 from 4-10 p.m with the ever-popular evening 5K race through Lakewood's historic neighborhoods.
The Meltdown 5K serves as a fundraiser for LakewoodAlive.
The Summer Meltdown represents one of the region's most highly-anticipated street parties. A "something for everyone" event, the Meltdown offers seemingly endless recreation opportunities, including a 5K race, 1 Mile Family Fun Run, beer garden, street festival, outdoor activities, games, food vendors, live music and more. Where else can you run a race that ends at a beer garden?

Free parking will be available in the city lots behind Melt, First Federal Lakewood and Rozi’s. All metered spaces throughout the city are also free on weekends.
