2020....how cool is that year! Start it out right by running with us at the 6th Annual Suwanee Half Marathon and Old Town 5k presented by Performance Race Services and the City of Suwanee. As in the past, a portion of each registration goes to benefit the Suwanee Public Arts Program.
**As we did last year, we are providing special commemorative jackets/pull overs for all those who have finished 5 years of the Suwanee Half Marathon. (To be mailed/picked up once final order is submitted with all 5 year runners).
The Suwanee Half Marathon course will challenge you but it will also give you a great mix of flat along with the Suwanee hills. The race will start at Suwanee Town Center, bring you up to and down PIB, in and around George Pierce Park, on the greenway to McGinnis Ferry, down and back onto the greenway (going under McGinnis Ferry) to Suwanee Creek Park. You will then turn around by the bathrooms in Suwanee Creek Park, return back on the greenway, all the way back onto the boardwalk bridge and back to the start by City Hall. You can see the new course using this link: Suwanee Half Marathon Course
Old Town 5k. This race will start 15 minutes after the half marathon. The 5k will start on Main Street next to the library. (This is to reduce any runner flow restrictions going under the train tunnel and to allow for a joint finish line with the half marathon.) The 5k will follow the same first mile of the half, but split off LEFT half way up Eva Kennedy onto Brushy Creek Way. Don't forget to look around about mile 2.25 and enjoy Old Town Suwanee (amazing how much Suwanee has changed) while you return back down main street and back to City Hall. You can see the course using this link (it does show long but Map My Run does not take the complete tangents): Old Town 5k Course
**Weather Alternate Half Marathon Route: In case of greenway flooding we will be using our alternate course Suwanee Half Marathon - Weather Alternate Course
The Half Marathon will start at 7:30 AM in front of City Hall and the 5k will start at 7:45 AM on Main Street (across from the library). For those running the 5k, don't forget to cheer on the half marathon runners as they come by you!

This year we have specific task option, choose the one you would like to help out with. The Suwanee Half will be providing breakfast before the race, after race food and some race swag for you spending your time helping. We and the runners will appreciate you being there!
