Pedal the Cause

Hi! My name is Sam Visintine, and this is my third year participating in Pedal the Cause. Pedal the Cause is a fundraiser for cancer research. 100% of the money raised goes to Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital, to support over 200 projects. By participating in a bike ride, participants like me help bring awareness to this cause and raise money. $45 million has already been raised!

Why ride? I plan to bike 50 miles to remember my aunt Gina, who lost her life to cancer, and to remember a good friend and coach who passed away from cancer last year. I also ride to remember the millions of people affected by cancer each year, and to raise money to help find the cure. 

How can you help? My goal this year is to raise $1,000, with 100% of the money raised going straight to cancer research. I would greatly appreciate any amount donated, even if it is just $1. Remember that 100% of what you donate will be used in finding life-saving medicine for millions of people. Together, we can work to help cure cancer.
