Timothy Dale Carlisle, Sr., 56, of Tallahassee, passed away on February 1, 2015 after a tough battle with terminal cancer.  Tim joined the US Marine Corp in 1977 and proudly served his country over 20 years before retiring in 2001 as a Master Sergeant.  During Tim’s outstanding military career, he served as an agent for the Marine Corps Criminal Investigation Division and as a Special Agent for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. During his last 8 years of service, Tim served as the Chief Investigator for the Criminal Investigation Division, Iwakuni, Japan and the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA.  After retiring from the Marine Corps, Tim later joined the State of Florida workforce and subsequently retired in 2014 as the Director of Investigations in the Office of the Inspector General at the Attorney General’s office. Tim is survived by his wife of 27 years, Diane; his daughter, Chelsey; and his sons, Timmy and Cameron.
