Damon was diagnosed with Autism at age 2. Always a happy guy but he definitely has his struggles. He’s been through literally all the therapies: PT, OT, Teacher, Speech Language & Speech Feeding therapy since he was 9 months old. He currently is working with speech on obtaining a communication device to help him share his amazing thoughts he hasn’t been able to verbally communicate before. He’s making strides at an integrated preschool named Jowonio and we are working on making some big decisions for Kindergarten in the fall! We all know the resources for people with Autism and their families, including the resources here locally in CNY are very limited and most waitlists are sadly years long.
