Y Turkey Trot Charity 5K

Please consider running this year's Y Turkey Trot in memory of Jordan Taylor--the beloved Catonsville Youth Sports Director and long-time Y camp counselor. Jordan was a proud Catonsville High School XC and track member. who experienced some of his happiest moments running and competing with his close friends. Tragically, in November of 2019, Jordan was taken from us, a victim of senseless gun violence. 

"Coach" Jordan was loved and admired by the hundreds of kids whose lives he impacted during his time at the Y. By joining Team Jordan, your Turkey Trot registration fee will go directly to the Jordan Taylor Youth Development Fund to provide financial assistance to children and young people in the Catonsville area whose families cannot afford participation in the Y youth programs that Jordan gave so much of his time and talent.  By running for Coach Jordan, you will be helping to honor his legacy as a guy who made every child and young person he encountered feel valued and special. 

By registering on Team Jordan you also will receive--at no extra charge--a "Team Jordan" Turkey Trot ski cap and Coach Jordan wristband along with this year's fabulous Y Turkey Trot shirt. We sincerely appreciate your participation and support of this fourth annual "Coach Jordan" run at the Y Turkey Trot location of your choice (or your virtual course).  The main Team Jordan contingent will be trotting on the Ellicott City course.  We will be handing out free Team Jordan ski caps to this year's participants, so come see us at the Team Jordan table in front of Unos before the race starts.
