Twenty-five years ago, one day changed our family forever. Pete and Lydia were raising Tasha, age 8, and Erik, age 5, when Pete suffered a heart attack while out running. It caused a severe brain injury, changing his life—and all of ours.
A few years later, Pete moved into McLaughlin House in North Reading, a home created by Supportive Living, Inc. (SLI) for people with brain injury. There, Pete has found care, comfort, and opportunities to stay active and connected. For our family, knowing he has a home where he is supported and valued means everything.
Now we’re coming together to give back—and we hope you’ll join us.
On November 1, Team Radzinski will participate in the Genesis Battlegreen Run to raise money for activities that bring health, friendship, and enjoyment to SLI residents like Pete. Erik will participate in Lexington, while Tasha and other family members will join virtually from wherever they are.
Please donate to Team Radzinski or join Team SLI in person or virtually. Your support helps make everyday opportunities possible for Pete and his fellow residents: a chance to exercise, spend time with friends, and enjoy life.
We are so grateful to have found SLI. Please help us thank the people who have made such a difference in Pete’s life—and ours.
With heartfelt thanks,
Team Radzinski
Tasha, Erik, Lydia, Paul, Jane, Rosie, and more!
