Hello! We're participating in the Annapolis Run for The Light House Half Marathon | 5k | Walk on Sunday, September 14th at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis!
In addition to running, our desire is to raise funds that go directly to our most vulnerable neighbors, helping them receive job training and safe housing. That's why we've decided to also fundraise as Charity Runners this year! Please consider supporting us with a tax-deductible donation so that we can reach our fundraising goal. We believe that so much of the impact we can have in this world comes from activating and supporting our own community in our own backyard. All proceeds from this race benefit The Annapolis Light House, a local 501c3 that is a homeless prevention support center.
The Light House provides the following to our community...
● Housing - emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and transitional housing
● Employment - tools to achieve sustainable employment
● Social Enterprise - Light House Bistro Restaurant that provides training and employment opportunities
● Support Services - food, clothing, and other basic needs
